Destany Brown was born and raised in Jennings, Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During law school, she spent most of her summers interning in-house with startup companies, where she led teams, managed commercial contracts, and advised leadership on business strategy and operational risk.

Destany is passionate about helping businesses and entrepreneurs brand, scale, and protect what they’ve built. She focuses on commercial litigation and providing strategic, practical solutions that support sustainable growth and strong business foundations. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Intellectual Property Association. Outside of work, Destany enjoys spending time with her family and filming podcast episodes on scaling businesses through marketing and legal protection.
